Pin Ups (3)

As The Nightwatch on All about Lemon’s Music Passion winds down, I can’t resist sharing one of my faves.
“Here Comes The Night” is a 1964 song, written by Bert Berns. It became a hit for Van Morrison and Them in March 1965. The song was originally released by Decca Records in November 1964, in a version sung by Lulu. The song has been covered by other artists such as David Bowie, Rod Stewart , Dwight Yoakam, Streetheart, Native, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and The Rivals (1980). A punk version. The Rivals thought they were covering a David Bowie song. The video, made entirely with classic pinups such as Gena Gershon, a living Jessica Rabbit and an occasional Bettie Page, makes this a sweet piece of art. Enjoy!!!

Speaking of art, my daughter, Pink Heat(A.K.A. Heather Clausen), is following in the footsteps of her dad and attending art school in Colorado. This Video she did in Adobe Premiere utilises some of the comic book artwork from the forthcoming issue no. 2 of Short Stories and Tall Tales featuring Starduster.

Next up…Pin Ups (4) The “Naked” Pages… Watch 4 it!
